THE PROCESS
DESIGN
The designs can be thought out and planned for hours or days, or they can be a spur of the moment design. Some of my favourite items are ones that weren't planned.
Colour combinations are often the first thing decided on, then pattern, techniques, shape and overall finish.
Jewellery findings are then chosen based on colour, patterns and design.

SELECTION
Materials are chosen based on the design and colour scheme I am going for at the time of creation.
They may not always turn out exactly how I envision, but that's part of the fun.
A combination of techniques are used with the clay, including mokume gane, jelly roll, stacking and canes.
A combination of materials are used to design the resin pieces including gold, silver and copper leaf, alcohol inks and chameleon powders and mica powders.
Premo and Souffle Sculpey clay, and anti-yellowing, low VOC Resin are used in your items.
LOVE AND CARE
Polymer clay and Resin are generally strong, durable materials, but they do need some love and care after purchase.
Polymer clay- your clay jewellery will be flexible, but don't be too rough or you might break them. They can be gently washed in warm, soapy water if they need a clean.
Resin- some inks can fade over time, so it's best to keep resin out of direct sunlight. Please do not leave resin products in a hot car or out in the sun as they can get soft- it is a form of plastic after all.

When cared for correctly, your pieces will last for years.
Enjoy xx
